Welcome to the Brisbane Bridge Centre

About Our Club: The Brisbane Bridge Centre is a friendly and welcoming club. We are located in the Yeronga Memorial Park (See Google maps) with plenty of off-street parking.

On Saturdays, a guaranteed game is available if you turn up without a partner (refer to Policy Document "Arriving Without a Partner" on the Documents page).

It is appreciated that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the session start time. [posted Mon 5-Nov-18]

Accessibility Upgrade Opening:

On Monday Afternoon 9 November 2020, the Brisbane Bridge Centre Committee held a small gathering to thank those involved in a significant project to upgrade the club building with many accessibility features.

Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions, we were unable to have the gala opening of our new facilities that we would of like to have occurred.

Those present at the gathering included members of the Brisbane Bridge Centre Committee, Councillor Nicole Johnston (Tennyson Ward), Pastor Michael Adom (Winners Chapel), Richard Ward (Queensland Bridge Association President), the Brisbane City Council Access and Inclusion Team and the Project Manager. We thank the council for this work and are fortunate that this has been completed while the club has been closed due to COVID-19.

- Widening the pathway into the club building
- Upgrading of the doors to the upstairs and downstairs playing areas
- New Accessible Toilet for the upstairs and downstairs playing areas
- Additional flood light at the entry into the club building

Other work that has also been completed, some at the club expense, included:
- Upgrading the downstairs Male toilet facility
- Colorbond fencing at the Frederick Street corner of the grounds [posted Sat 4-Jul-20]
